Tamales

On October 10, my daughter came to visit me.  She planned to do this two weeks before coming over.  When the day came she brought everything she needed to make the tamales. She prepared the dough for the tamales, the meat, and all the ingredients for the tamales. Then she started cooking. Later, I received a surprise. My oldest son came home with his family. I was so happy when I saw them, because I haven’t seen them for a long time. Unfortunately, my son and his family had to go, before the tamales were ready. So, he left with out anything to eat.  My daughter commented that should have bought something to while waiting for the tamales to finish. Finally, the tamales were ready to eat.  Everyone at home ate dinner.  It was so good.  Everyones was so happy except my son and his family.  But, next time I will be ready and prepare everything on time

Who Is My Hero?

My hero has been Marisa Esquivel since she was 10 years old. She’s a very strong girl. When I started to work she always was with me. She helped me with the house work. After she came home from school every day she helped me babysit her sister, and two brothers. She cooked, cleaned the house, and also helped her brother do his home work. When I came home from work she always waited to see me before she went to sleep. She did this for many years until she married. Also, now she is a great mother. I appreciate everthing she did for me, because if she did not help me no body else was there.  She is good daugther, wife, and mother.
